Winter 2025
We love winter. It’s the ideal time for enjoying hearty meals with red wine. This winter, we’ve embarked on a program of re-tasting all of the back vintage wines we’ve made since we took over from mum and dad in 1996 in order to see how they’re maturing and to update the tasting notes contained here on the website. There are more than 100 wines to review so we’ve allowed 12 months to get it done. We’ll post the updated notes as we go, so if you have a precious old bottle or two you’re curious about, keep an eye out for those (under ‘Our Wines>Tasting Notes’).
We’re sold out of wine at the moment, but we’ll be back in contact with members in October to offer the 2024 vintage reds and the new Rosé.
Then we’ll open the cellar doors on Saturday 15 November with a limited amount of the new wines available to anyone who can visit.
For those of you who like to plan ahead, the cellar door open weekends this year will be 15/16, 22/23 and 29/30 November 2025. We look forward to seeing you then.
**Please note we don’t have any online shop.
There are two direct methods to purchase our wines.
You can visit our cellar door in November or join our members waiting list for the mailing list.
ABOUT US
Hello, may name is Drew Noon and alongside my wife Raegan, we are the independent owners and operators of our small family winery nestled in the foothills of McLaren Vale, South Australia.
I grew up on this property and my father David established our family wine business here in 1976. The winemaking duties have been under my guidance from the vintage of 1996. We only make red wines and have always produced full bodied styles that are made by hand (Noon family hands) and that is still the case today. We work with small vineyard blocks, so our wines are only produced in limited quantities. We hope you will enjoy them.
OUR WINES
We love to produce wines that make you feel warm and comforted. That make your evening meal a joy.
They’re not simple or ‘easy’ but they draw you in, inviting you to experience their complexity.
They are full-bodied, that’s true. Possibly with a little ‘too much flavour’ for beginners. But if you already know wine and love balance and soulfulness, something worthy of your attention in its own right, these wines could be for you.
CELLAR DOOR
Mark your calendar for our cellar door opening weekends this year – everyone’s welcome! This is your opportunity to experience firsthand the flavours of our newly released wines, with the chance to sample them all, though sales will be limited to the availability of our stock at the time. Stepping inside, you’ll find us behind the bar, pouring glasses and engaging in conversation about the latest vintage. The whole family usually gets involved.
We re-open the cellar doors on Saturday 15 November 2025 at 10am and will be open for 3 consecutive weekends:
15/16, 22/23 and 29/30 of November.
Between 10am and 5pm each day.
We hope to see you then if you can make it.
