A snapshot of the 2022 vintage. Those cold winds we experienced at release time last year (you may remember if you visited to collect your wine) upset the flowering on the Grenache vines and resulted in quite a small crop unfortunately. The wine however looks magnificent! The Shiraz and Cabernet crops at Langhorne Creek were also down but not so much. The wines are maturing in barrel now. The quality looks exciting and I think it could be one of the best vintages of the last 10 years or more. I’ll let you know how they’re looking when we offer the 2022 reds to you this time next year.
