The cellar door re-opens on
Saturday the 16th of November 2024 10am to 5pm
THREE WEEKENDS ONLY November 16/17, 23/24 and 30 Nov/1 December Please check the Home Page for latest details.
Mailing List Sales Almost all of our wine is sold direct to our mailing list members who receive an offer by post in early October each year. Many of these people have been customers for a long time and almost all of them have visited the cellars; some have a connection since my father's time. Unfortunately the mailing list is fully subscribed and we are unable to add any further names at present. Back in 2001 we began a ‘Waiting list' for the mailing list and these people nowadays receive a more limited wine offer each year at the same time as the Mailing List members (typically up to 6 bottles depending on the vintage). In 2020 we have reached a point where the Waiting List has become quite long and we have had to close it too. If you would like to join as a member today**, we will be happy to receive your contact details for a 'Reserve Waiting List' so that when places become available on the Waiting List we can move you on to it. To be as fair as possible, names will be upgraded from the Reserve List in the order that we received them. We apologise for the limited quantity of wine available but we have no desire to produce any more because quality would very likely be compromised if we attempted to do so. **Please note you must be aged 18 years or over to join the mailing list Cellar Door Sales The cellar door re-opens annually in November for three weekends. All the new release wines are available for tasting, with sales limited to what we have available. Our cellar door hours of opening are 10am to 5pm. This can be a busy period for us, so we apologise in advance for any delays we may cause you. If you are planning to visit, perhaps phone a few days before the weekend to find out which wines will be available. See <Cellar Door> above for more details. During the weeks leading up to Cellar Door opening, we also aim to post updates on wine availability on the home page. Retail Sales Our wines are not commonly available in restaurants and bottle shops in Australia as we do not produce enough wine to sell in quantity to the trade. However, there are a few places who annually receive a small allocation. In the McLaren Vale region: The Salopian Inn Restaurant, McLaren Vale and The Victory Hotel, Sellicks Beach. In Adelaide: East End Cellars, Rundle St . In Melbourne: Caulfield Cellars, South Caulfield. In Sydney: Five Ways Cellars, Paddington. Auction Sales If you are interested in obtaining our wine more immediately, including back vintages, you may find bottles available via the auction market from auction houses such as Langton’s Fine Wines (www.langtons.com.au)
